ROD DESCRIPTION

The Latest game rod from Okuma designed specifically for Land Based Shark Fishing from the beach or rocks. The rod is 8 foot long, 2 piece design for travel, with a connection in the butt/foregrip so as not to compromise any strength of the blank. With a 37kg to 60kg line class, this rod can be used for massive sharks like Bronze Whalers to Bull Sharks. The guide train is full zirconium hard guides designed for running braid line that will allow for minimal maintenance. The reel seat is oversized to accommodate an 80W reel if needed and has locking rings to stop the reel seat from unwinding mid fight. This has to be the best Land based game rod on the market for its price. If sharks off the surf is your thing, this is your rod!
