Kairiki PE Braid
Smooth, supple and sensitive — these keywords sum up Shimano’s new Kairiki SX 8 braid. An eight carrier Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) PE braid, its smooth finish means it creates less friction over rod guides when cast, and it slips through the water with reduced resistance and thrumming on the retrieve or when trolled. Kairiki SX8 is well behaved on the reel spool, with even lay and less propensity to throw off annoying wind knots. Sensitivity is brought into the manufacturing process by reducing overall stretch and having less elongation than competitors’ brands. An exclusive process that the raw material undergoes before braiding enhances abrasion resistance, featuring Shimano’s enhanced body treatment (S-EBT).The line is then braided with less friction, retaining the integrity of the material for fewer imperfections. This makes it a tough line for use in difficult terrain. Available in 11 breaking strains from 6 to 80lb on 150 metre spools at the lighter end and 300 metres from 20lb up, its neutral Mantis Green colour means it is every bit at home in a western impoundment as it is on a trout stream, or down in the estuaries and offshore.

Here at Allways Angling we do everything we can to help our customers with genuine warranty processes. However, for the best chance at getting your warranty approved by the supplier, we need to have the product returned to us in the exact condition as when the fault/damage occurred. Make sure that when you send items back to us for a warranty assessment by the supplier, it is packaged and sent as carefully as you would if it was a brand new product.
When sending back items remember to make sure the item/s are clean (if they have been used) and send them back protected, in a box so they do not get further damage during transit.
Freight costs both to and from Allways Angling or warranty purposes is the customers responsibility. Please contact us if you require assistance with freighting your warranty items back to us.
Please also be aware that manufactures warranties are for Manufacturers faults only, wear and tear are NOT covered by warranty. When purchasing Graphite Rods...DO NOT grab the tips and bend them over to test them, this is the leading cause of rod returns and this will not be covered by warranty. When threading you line through the guides, make sure your bail arm is open. DO NOT pull the line against the drag of the reel, this will pull the rod tip over at a sharp angle and break the tip as well. When fishing. DO NOT high stick the rod. Don't lift the rod vertical into the air. This is another leading cause of rod failure.
PLEASE NOTE: If the buyer wishes to return an item due to it not being what they thought, the buyer will be charged for the freight that it cost to send the item plus the return freight cost as well plus 10% administration fee.
